What tech-related project are you working on?

"The Sensory Studio" based in Three Ways SEN School. A versatile space that provides a platform for immersive environments, curricular scenarios, interactive technology, multi-sensory stimuli, extra curricular clubs and special events. The space makes use of three projectors to impose one super wide image, we have a bank of coloured LED lights, a special 12 speaker surround sound system, a moving spotlight and a variety of alternative control interfaces for use by students and staff. I develop content and use sensors, cameras, microphones, tag readers iPads etc to trigger various lighting, video and sound events. In this way, students of any ability can gain control over their environment and teachers can wirelessly control a particular scenario. Sessions make use of auditory, tactile, visual, taste and smell stimuli with integrated music therapy and aim to provide pupils with the opportunity to learn whilst working, exploring and experiencing independently.

If you could work on any project in the world, what would it be?

A large scale installation of interactive, creative tech in which I can work with some leading practitioners and give proper devotion to the project for a substantial period.
